6TH GRADE
Students will begin their second year of studying their instruments this year in the school band. The band is a great opportunity to develop self-esteem, establish a new hobby, make friendships, and perform as part of a larger group. If you missed the opportunity to join the band last year and are interested this year, please contact Mrs. Piatt.

6TH GRADE BAND
Music classes meet on either Monday or Thursday afternoon once a week. In music class, students will sing a variety of songs, play classroom instruments, utilize technology, and learn about and listen to music from American composers.
6TH GRADE MUSIC CLASS
The Southeast Singers choir is a volunteer group that meets once a week before school. The choir performs a variety of popular and upbeat music throughout the school year at concerts and special school events. This group begins rehearsing in October and is open to both 5th and 6th graders.
