5TH GRADE
As 5th graders, students have the opportunity to join the school band. The band is a great opportunity to develop self-esteem, establish a new hobby, make friendships, and perform as part of a larger group. Meetings for those interested in band will begin during intervention when school starts, but hopefully many of your questions can be answered here.

5TH GRADE BAND
Music classes meet on either Monday or Thursday mornings once a week. In music class, students will sing a variety of songs, play classroom instruments, utilize technology, and learn about and listen to music from countries all around the world.
5TH GRADE MUSIC CLASS
The Southeast Singers choir is a volunteer group that meets once a week before school. The choir performs a variety of popular and upbeat music throughout the school year at concerts and special school events. This group begins rehearsing in October and is open to both 5th and 6th graders.
